Additional community-based COVID-19 testing sites are scheduled to open in the city of Las Vegas beginning Nov. 17.
The first site is at Doolittle Senior Center, 1930 N. J St., and will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 17.
In addition, a site at Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy, 2531 Vegas Drive, is scheduled to be open Nov. 19-20.
This site will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 8 a.m. to noon on Nov. 20.
Finally, a site at Centennial High School, 10200 W. Centennial Parkway, will be open Dec. 3 and 4 from 8 a.m. to noon.
These sites will be open to the public and tests will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Testing is recommended for both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.

The state of Nevada also has a COVID-19 test locator tool that lists labs, pharmacies and other testing resources.
Patients receive test results from the provider that performed their COVID-19 test. All results, positive or negative, are reported to the health district.
