1 COVID-related death reported of Pahrump resident, 11 new positives

PAHRUMP (KTNV) — Nye County has confirmed today one new death related to COVID-19. The deceased was a resident of Pahrump. It is important to remember that, according to state analysis, that COVID deaths generally correspond to cases diagnosed up to 5 weeks ago.

Overall, there has been 453 confirmed cases of COVID-19 positives, with 10 new positives in Pahrump, and one in Amargosa Valley reported and confirmed by this morning.

Reminder that the anti-body positives do not count in the county’s overall active total.

The county is reporting today that approximately 6,000 tests have been administered for COVID-19. The reported number of tests administered is the best information received by the county from the state and private clinics. The number does not reflect the unknown number of County residents tested outside the county.
