Cooler temps expected for first day of Fall

The first day of Fall or Autumn is Sept. 22 and it's going to feel like it.

High temperatures are expected to be in the mid to low 90s on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

However, they will drop to the mid to low 80s on Thursday, which is about 10 degrees below average. And it will be even cooler on Friday , the first day of Fall, with an expected high of 78 degrees.

The week will wrap up with a high temperatures of 77 on both Saturday and Sunday.

It won't just be cooler though, it will also be quite breezy.

Gusts up to 30 mph are expected on Monday afternoon and winds are expected to reach 25 mph on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday isn't any better with 35 mph winds expected. However, the wind will be much calmer on Friday.

Low temps this week are expected to range from 70 degrees on Monday night to 59 degrees or cooler by the end of the week.
