A contract worker is dead after a construction accident at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
It happened around 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas and Mack Center.
Officials tell Action News that a male worker was critically injured on the campus, and later died at a local hospital.
The worker has been identified as 27-year-old Joshua Meade of Las Vegas.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of this incident.
UNLV issued the following statement:
A contract worker was critically injured in a construction accident that occurred just after 11 a.m. today at the Thomas & Mack Center. Our thoughts are with the family of the man, who was transported to a local hospital and later passed away.
