The Nevada State Board of Contractors is warning residents about a group of unlicensed workers offering roof repair in the Reno and Sparks area.
The board says that the roofers will negotiate cash deals for roof repairs, usually at a price significantly lower than one from a licensed contractor.
After they receive payment, they will start work but never finish it.
