Las Vegas saw an incredible amount of support following the 1 October mass shooting that took place at the Route 91 music festival.
We've now learned that a group of 16 people will decide where the money, over $12 million raised in a GoFundMe account, will go. The Review-Journal reports that the committee will be comprised of representatives from law enforcement, local government, healthcare, and gaming industries.
The committee is expected to distribute the funds anywhere from 3-6 months from now.
