It was officially Black Friday and many people were in valley stores buying Christmas gifts for their loved ones or even for themselves.

Not everyone waited for Black Friday though. Many people were out and about on Thanksgiving Day, even after the temperatures started dropping in the evening hours.

A Best Buy shopper told us he was able to get a great deal on a 25-inch television. Another shopper picked up a Dell laptop on sale for his wife.

Early Friday morning, the temperature in the valley ranged from 28 to 36 degrees and there were reports of snow in the western part of the valley. By this afternoon, temps are expected to be in the upper 40s and low 50s with mainly sunny skies.
