LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District is holding several hiring fairs this week in Las Vegas.
The first one will take place at Spring Valley High school on March 3 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The teacher shortage throughout Clark County continues and the district is in desperate need to fill vacant positions.
The district said currently there are more than 600 teaching vacancies, 100 bus driver vacancies, 500 special education classroom aides and 100 food service vacancies.
Most positions do require a high school diploma and the district said the requirements are steady and have not changed.
