UPDATE AT NOON OCT. 3: After cancelling its shows on Monday night following the tragic events in Las Vegas, performances of Cirque du Soleil and Blue Man Group will resume Tuesday, with the exception of Michael Jackson ONE at the Mandalay Bay resort, which will reopen on Friday.
UPDATE AT 4:15 P.M. The unveiling of display case of REO Speedwagon's Hi Infidelity memorabilia at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Oct. 2 has been canceled because of the shooting. The event will be rescheduled for a future date.

Due to the shooting that occurred last night in Las Vegas, the Monday night performances of Cirque du Soleil, Blue Man Group, and MGM Resorts in Las Vegas have been canceled.
As the tragic events unfolded, all Cirque du Soleil’s theatres were immediately put into lock-down in collaboration with local authorities. Audience members that were attending the shows have since been authorized to leave the theatres.
For the time being, none of Cirque du Soleil’s employees have been identified amongst the victims. Cirque du Soleil is in the process of checking in with each of them and organizing on-the-ground support for all of its teams.
Cirque du Soleil’s deepest thoughts and sympathies are with the victims, their loved ones and the Las Vegas community.
Tickets purchased through the Cirque du Soleil website or call center will be automatically reimbursed on the original credit card used for the purchase. MGM Resorts later announced their shows are also canceled Monday. Tickets purchased through the MGM Resort website or call center will be automatically reimbursed on the original credit card used for the purchase as well.
