Todd Quinones has been hired as news anchor for Good Morning Las Vegas at KTNV-TV Channel 13 Action News.

The official announcement was made almost a month ago. Quinones arrived for his first day at Channel 13 on Jan. 11. His first air date will be next Monday.

Quinones joins Beth Fisher, Dayna Roselli, Jessica Janner and Greg Bennett on the weekday morning news program. He comes to Action News from KYW in Philadelphia where he was the lead nightside reporter and a fill-in anchor. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. Quinones has reported on many notable stories including, but not limited to Hurricane Sandy, the New Jersey boardwalk fire, the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area sniper and more. He was part of a team at KYW that won two Edward R. Murrow awards for overall excellence in 2007 and 2013.

“Todd is a solid journalist with excellent skills as an anchor and reporter,” said News Director Michael Dello Stritto. “He is a great addition to Action News and our morning news.”

“I look forward to being part of a talented team on Good Morning Las Vegas,” said Quinones. “The city is on the move, as is the newscast. I see tremendous opportunity to build on the positive ratings that Good Morning Las Vegas already delivers. I’m also committed to getting vital news and information to our audiences, wherever they’re watching including TV, website and our mobile app.”
