The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring 100 workers for temporary jobs available in Clark County for the 2020 Census.
The 2020 Census Jobs website is now accepting applications for Census Takers at a pay of $18 per hour.
Census takers will visit the households that have not responded to the census, speaking with residents, and using electronic devices (such as smartphones issued by the Census Bureau) to collect census data.
Census takers will follow local public health guidelines when they visit, and will be wearing masks.
They also must complete a virtual COVID-19 training on social distancing protocols and other health and safety guidance before beginning their work in neighborhoods.
