Three people were injured after a van smashed through a business wall at 4750 South Eastern Avenue.
The crash happened around 4:36 p.m. Saturday. An elderly female accelerated in a handicap parking spot, pulled forward through the bushes, then turned left into the wall of Burlington Coat Factory.
No drugs or alcohol are suspected. Officials believe the crash was an accident.
A total of three people were taken to Sunrise Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One was an employee who was trapped between the wall and the cash register area.
No charges have been filed at this point. The driver is cooperating with police. Burlington Coat Factory is planning on reopening soon, as the structure is still sound.
