Anyone who has lost a loved one is invited to a celebration of life butterfly release Sunday.
Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation is hosting the event at the UNLV Alumni Park Amphitheatre that starts at 2 p.m. with 500 butterflies released around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The premise of the butterfly release is based on a Native American legend for carrying wishes to the heavens, according to Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation.
