9:00 P.M.
At 6:22 p.m., a couple of people notified Henderson police to a body located on a bench at Lake Mead Parkway Trail near Shoshone Lane. The man appeared to be in his 50s and police found nothing suspicious about his death. The exact cause will be determined by the coroner. UPDATE MAY 22: The man was identified as 52-year-old Jeffrey Itchakawitch of Henderson. His cause of death is pending.
8:00 P.M.
Isiah Olive, the missing 8-year-old boy, has been found at a Chevron gas station near South Durango Drive and West Sunset Road.
7:00 P.M.
An 8-year-old boy is missing in the area of West Russell Road and South Durango Drive. Isiah Olive went missing around 1 p.m. today after friends say he took a scooter to a nearby 7-Eleven. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt, black or grey jeans and red and black shoes. If you have any information, please contact police.
4:00 P.M.
Las Vegas police say that a car wash was robbed around 1:50 p.m. near South Rainbow Boulevard and West Russell Road. They were armed with handguns and demanded money from the safe. When the safe could not be opened, they left with an employee's cell phone. An employee attempted to follow the suspect vehicle, but was shot at. The employee then pulled over and called police. Detectives are investigating.
1:40 P.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police official reports that the barricade on Ivory Circle has ended.
The suspect, who had somehow managed to leave the residence, was apprehended at a nearby Walmart without further incident.
No individuals were harmed or injured.
11:33 A.M.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have evacuated homes as a precaution for a barricade situation on Ivory Circle, near West Craig Road and North Jones Boulevard, that began as a domestic violence call.
Police believe the suspect is armed and there is a handicapped, bedridden individual also in the house with the suspect..
