BOULDER CITY (KTNV) — Boulder City is the safest place to live in Nevada. That's according to a new study from HomeSnacks.
The community data site analyzed 13 cities in Nevada with a population of more than 2,000 using the latest FBI crime data.
Specifically, HomeSnacks analyzed the FBI's Uniform Crime Report which summarizes the number of property crimes and violent crimes in each city per year. Violent crimes per capita include murders, assaults, rapes, armed robberies, while property crimes per capita include thefts, burglaries and motor vehicle thefts.
Henderson ranked 4th on the list while Las Vegas came in at 10th.

Overall, Nevada ranked 40th on its list of safest states in the Unites States.
