Las Vegas police are investigating a body found near Southern Highlands Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a call around 1:30 p.m. of a deceased female found by a billboard off Robert Trent Jones Lane, west of Interstate 15 and east of Southern Highlands Parkway.

Police said the woman is believed to have died of natural causes. She was identified as 41-year-old Darlene Simon. Her city of residence is unknown and her cause of death is pending.
