Boarding passes no longer needed at TSA checkpoints at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — If you're traveling out of the airport in Las Vegas, things just got a little easier.

The TSA has finished installing new photo ID scanners at all security checkpoints.

With the scanner, you don't need to show a boarding pass at the checkpoint. It scans your ID and confirms your ticket.

McCarran International Airport is one of a few airports in the U.S. that has the new technology.
