Hundreds of people are volunteering their time to put together care packages for troops deployed overseas.
It is all being organized by the Blue Star Mothers. They have coordinated more than 1400 boxes filled letters, toiletries, phone cards, and candy.
The Blue Star Mothers have been putting these care packages together for the last 7 years. Some do not even have family members who are serving overseas, but they know just how important these reminders from home are.
