LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament gets underway today.
The Las Vegas valley attracts millions of visitors this time of year because many of them come here to place their bets.
In 2018, Vegas welcomed more than 42 million visitors, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority,
The organization says 3.7 million of those people came during the month of March alone.
A big chunk of those people were here just for the NCAA tournament.
