A BB gun was confiscated from Mojave High School on Monday.
According to a letter sent to parents, the Clark County School District Police Department responded to the initial report of a weapon on campus. The student was removed from the area.
The letter said there were no threats made against students at Mojave and no injuries were reported.
Legal and disciplinary action is being taken against the student, the principal wrote in the letter.
