LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — An exhibition of the reclusive graffiti artist Banksy's works opened at the Fashion Show mall containing more than 70 pieces collected by private owners.
"Banksy: Genius or Vandal" has interactive pieces, iconic paintings, sculptures, and a 750-pound piece of wall graffitied by the artist that was cut free from a building.
Installation General Manager Ava Bahnam said the installation was powerful for her even as they were putting the pieces into their resting places.
"The first time they started setting up the installation, I downloaded the audio and started going through every art piece before we installed it, and I was so intrigued," Bahnam said.
Bahnam said she hoped guests would leave the exhibition with a desire to create inspiring art of their own.
"We have an audio guide to go with it, and get an idea behind the inspiration between each art piece," she said.
The exhibition will be open through April 5, 2020.
Tickets for adults are $29, and children under 11 will get a discounted ticket fro $15.
