LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — High school football players in Las Vegas are excited to get back on the field.

Last year's season was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

13 Action News spoke to the head coach at Desert Pines High School. Watch in the player above.

The season officially kicks off around the state on Aug. 19.
