LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Today is the first day of school for students at Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School.
Faculty and staff will be focused on ensuring students' mental health and ability to learn.
The school has introduced an emotional health plan which includes staff training, mental health surveys, suicide screenings and on and off-campus counseling.
Their goal is to ramp up efforts to serve even more students and families.
