LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A crash that happened on Friday afternoon on Decatur Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue has closed both eastbound and westbound lanes.
The crash happened between a car and a pedestrian riding a mobility scooter, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
A 2023 Tesla was traveling westbound on Hacienda West of Decatur when a pedestrian riding a mobility scooter went in front of the Tesla's path.
The front of the Tesla struck the pedestrian, causing the person to be thrown out from their scooter.
The pedestrian is suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Impairment does not appear to be an issue in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
