The Monday after Thanksgiving, often refereed to as "Black Monday," is typically the busiest day of the year at the DMV.
If you don't have an appointment, your wait time could be much longer than usual.
Instead, the department offers two dozen online transactions, .including address changes and license plate orders.
There are also self-service kiosks at most DMV offices and at 31 supermarkets and partner locations around the valley.
