UPDATE: Power has been restored to the 13,000 customers in Summerlin.
ORIGINAL STORY
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- NV Energy reported some 13,000 customers without power Sunday evening.
Most of the outages were reported just after 6 p.m. The estimated time for power to be restored was 8 p.m. It was originally 8:30 p.m. The majority of the outages were reported in 89134 and 89144 although 89128 was also affected.
Equipment failure and transformer problems were suspected to be the issues but the cause remains under investigation.
