Eight people were displaced, and one dog is dead after an apartment fire on 2637 Red Rock Street.
Clark County firefighters received the call around 8:10 p.m. Sunday. Crews were able to contain the fire to the apartment of origin and keep it from entering adjacent units. A total of 36 firefighters were called to the scene.
The American Red Cross is assisting the eight people who were displaced by the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
