An apartment fire caused $5,000 in damages on 3791 Royal Crest Street on Saturday.
Clark County firefighters received the call around 3:50 p.m. Crews were able to extinguish the flames within five minutes.
The apartment was unoccupied, and firefighters were able to prevent the fire from affecting adjacent units.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
