LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Animal Foundation is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a campus party and discount adoptions on Saturday.
For those looking for a larger dog to fill their home, the foundation is offering $5 adoptions for all dogs six months and older and weighing over 30 pounds on Saturday, May 4.
The promotion is part of a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring Mexican food and music from La Buena radio station starting at 11 a.m., located at 655 N, Mohave Road.
The $5 large dog adoptions will include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines, according to a spokesperson for the organization.
A city/government fee up to $10 may also apply.
The Animal Foundation said this promotion is part of Mission: Possible 2020 - an initiative to save all healthy and treatable animals at the facility by 2020.
