American Airlines has announced direct flights between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Laughlin/Bullhead.

The first flight is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16 and the first flight will depart at 12 p.m.

“We’re excited to finally be able to say that you can connect to the world, direct from IFP,” said Mohave County Airport Authority President John Hastings. American Airlines announced nonstop daily scheduled air service between Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport (IFP) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) on October 10, 2016.

The announcement is the culmination of over a decade of labor on the part of Airport Authority staff and its many community partners who have been tirelessly working to attract commercial service. “We have been waiting for this day for a really long time and we are beyond excited for this opportunity,” said Jeremy Keating, Airport Director.
