An Allegiant Air flight skidded off the taxiway in Kansas on its way to Las Vegas Sunday night.

Flight 405 with scheduled service from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport to McCarran International Airport pushed back from the gate at 11:23 p.m., according to Allegiant. As it began taxiing, weather conditions worsened significantly, and the aircraft left the taxiway with part of the landing gear coming to rest off the tarmac.

The aircraft was carrying 161 passengers and six crew members, none of whom sustained any injuries during the incident, Allegiant reported.

Passengers deplaned and were shuttled to local hotels. Allegiant said they are being offered $100 off vouchers for future travel. Passengers may also choose to change their reservations to any other flight at no additional fee. Those who choose not to travel will receive a full refund.

Flight 405 has been rescheduled to Monday afternoon.

This was the second incident involving Allegiant over the weekend. A flight from Florida to Missouri returned to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport due to a mechanical issue Saturday, according to WFTS.
