LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — McCarran International Airport saw a 96% decrease in passenger traffic in April because of the coronavirus pandemic.
There were 4.3 million passengers recorded in April 2019. There were only 152,176 in April 2020.

So far this year, 10.2 million passengers have traveled through the main airport for Las Vegas. That is down 37% from the 16.2 million in the first 4 months of 2019.
Travel to and from Las Vegas has dropped significantly since the statewide shutdown in March.

The hotels-casinos on the Las Vegas Strip and around the valley are scheduled to reopen June 4.
