A 9-year-old boy named Marvin Herring has died after being found in a pool at a North Las Vegas apartment complex.
It happened June 15 in the 1200 block of West Cheyenne Avenue near Martin Luther King Boulevard in North Las Vegas. The boy, who was from Henderson, died a couple of days later on June 17 from an anoxic brain injury.
North Las Vegas police say the boy was attending a party. His death has been ruled accidental.
