LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Centers for Disease Control is urging people to check their ground beef after 87 more people have gotten sick after eating contaminated meat.
More than 300 people in 28 states have been sickened since August. 91 of those people were hospitalized. Fortunately, no one has died.
The new illnesses were reported in 16 states.
There have been 13 total reported cases in Nevada.
If your ground beef has an establishment number of "EST. 267," it needs to be thrown away. The recalled ground beef was sold in more than 100 stores, including Walmart and Kroger.
