A 74-year-old man has died after a crash last week near Smoke Ranch Road and Tenaya Way.
Around 9:53 a.m. Aug. 15, police said a Toyota Camry was stopped in the left turn lane of eastbound Smoke Ranch Road at Tenaya Way when a Honda Accord traveling west on Smoke Ranch Road crossed the center of the roadway into the opposing eastbound lanes. The front of the Honda hit the front of the Toyota.
Emergency medical services responded to the collision scene and both drivers were transported to UMC Trauma. The driver of the Camry died of his injuries Aug. 17 while the 66-year-old female driver of the Accord has moderate injuries.
