The Nevada Department of Corrections says that inmate Dean R. Legg died at the Regional Medical Facility inside the Northern Nevada Correctional Center on May 24. He was 70 years old.
NDOC says that Legg was committed from Washoe County back in 1984. He was serving 20 years to Life with Parole for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a victim under 16 years old, and for lewdness with a minor.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.
NDOC says they could not locate next of kin. Anyone with information about the location of a family member is asked to call 775-887-3309.
