Police say a 7-year-old child was struck by a Clark County School District bus on Thursday.
It was reported at 2:47 p.m. near Haleh Avenue and June Flower Drive in Southern Highlands. The child was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
There were 24 students on the bus at the time from Ries Elementary School. The driver and students were not injured.
