A 69-year-old man was critically injured after he was hit by car Thursday evening.
Around 5:50 p.m., Las Vegas resident Paul Meltzer was hit 150 feet west of the Arville Street and Charleston Boulevard intersection by a 2004 Lexus ES 330.
The Lexus immediately came to a stop. Meltzer was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Lexus cooperated with investigators and did not display any signs of impairment. Speed did not appear to be a factor in the collision.
