Six people are without a home and a dog is dead after a house fire in the 2500 block of East Clear Lake, which is near Gowan and Pecos roads.

Three people were in the home when it caught on fire around 1 a.m.

The fire started on the carport and quickly spread to the house.

One of the people in the home risked his own life to save his grandfather.

Junior Rivera spoke to Action News about the experience.

He told Action News that he had lived in the house his entire life and they have nowhere else to go.

Just got this viewer video of the house fire last night. You can actually see the flames over the home.
