Six new solar projects by NV Energy have been approved for the state of Nevada.
Three of the projects will be located in northern Nevada and the other three will be located in Southern Nevada.
Construction will require at least 1,700 workers and the new projects will create 80 long-term, permanent positions.
The six new projects will add to the dozens of renewable energy projects that NV Energy already has around the state.
