Five adults and one child are displaced from their home following a fire early Saturday morning.
Around 3:50 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a blaze in the 7400 block of Palermo Avenue, near Tropicana Avenue and Buffalo Drive. Firefighters reported the garage and attic area was ablaze upon arrival just before 4 a.m. The garage fire was extinguished at 4:29 a.m. and the attic at 4:32 a.m.
The family and one cat got out safely with no injuries. The Clark County Fire Department rescued one dog. The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
The fire is under investigation and the extent of damage has not yet been determined.
