Clark County firefighters responded to reports of a fire at 4037 Great Plains Way around 3:09 a.m. Tuesday.
Crews were able to douse the flames by 3:23 a.m.
The family inside said their dog warned them about the fire, allowing them to escape to safety.
The cause is under investigation. The American Red Cross is assisting the two adults and one child displaced by the fire.
No injuries were reported. Damages have been estimated at $40,000.
