LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department held a ceremony to honor 22 of its officers today.
They were awarded the James D. Hoff peace officer memorial survivor plaque.
It's meant to honor those officers who have placed themselves in harm's way to protect others and survived.
