LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A 20-year-old woman died weeks after a September crash in west Las Vegas that sent her to the hospital in critical condition, according to police.

On Sept. 9, a car hit a light pole and a utility box near Fort Apache Road just south of Flamingo Road. The woman, identified by police as Taylor Collins, was transported to UMC.

Police said at the time that the 18-year-old man driving remained at the scene and did not show any sign of impairment.

On Sept. 28, Las Vegas police were notified by the Los Angeles County coroner that the woman had died from her injuries.

Her death marks the 91st traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction in 2020.

The crash remains under investigation by the department.
