North Las Vegas police were involved in a vehicle pursuit early Sunday morning that resulted with two suspects in custody along with a recovered gun.
Officers received calls of shots fired in the area of Ferrell Street and Alexander Road before 5 a.m.
A Hummer was spotted leaving the area quickly, according to police, and refused to stop for patrol units.
A pursuit ensued that ranged from 15 mph to 50 mph with a K9 unit recovering a gun that was thrown from the suspect’s vehicle during the chase.
North Las Vegas officers eventually were able to stop the vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody.
No injuries were initially reported in the incident.
