Two people were taken to the hospital after a collision near West Charleston Boulevard and Apple Drive.
Las Vegas police say the crash happened around 10:50 a.m. Thursday.
Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate that a 2014 Cadillac was traveling westbound on Charleston Boulevard and tried to turn left onto southbound Apple drive. At the same time, a 2018 BMW was traveling eastbound on Charleston and struck the Cadillac on the right side.
The driver of the Cadillac was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the BMW was transported to another hospital for minor injuries.
Police say impairment does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
