Fire damaged one home under construction and one occupied home in Henderson early Saturday.

The Henderson Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire near Breeze Drive and Scenic Edge Street, which is near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Paradise Hills Drive, around 3:45 a.m.

The first arriving engine crew observed a fully involved fire at a single-family house that was under construction. Large embers from the fire started the wall of a nearby occupied two-story home on fire. The second home is located in the 200 block of Pioneers Peak Avenue.

Firefighters initiated an offensive attack and quickly extinguished the fire at both locations.

There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Total loss is estimated at $60,000.
