LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on SR168 and Mile Marker 11 in Clark County earlier today.
Troopers say a 1995 Lexus sedan was heading westbound on SR168 when for unknown reasons the vehicle drifted off the road and on to the right shoulder.
They say the driver then overcorrected and entered back on to SR168, crossed the eastbound travel lanes, and went off the roadway.

The vehicle came to rest off the roadway in a ravine on the eastbound side of SR168.
Both the driver and passenger were pronounced deceased on the scene.
The 19-year-old driver and 29-year-old passenger were unrestrained and investigators believe impairment is a factor in this crash.
Both victims are California residents.
The time of the crash is unknown as it was reported by a passerby after the crash had already occurred.
