19-year-old motorcyclist dies after crash in east Las Vegas

A motorcyclist has died after a crash last week.

Around 5 p.m. Thursday, April 12, a 2014 Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on East Charleston Boulevard turning left onto South Linn Lane, just west of Sloan Lane, where the front of a 2017 Yamaha YZF Motorcycle traveling on Charleston Boulevard struck the left front of the Hyundai. The rider came to rest in the roadway. 

The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to UMC Trauma via ambulance. On Tuesday, the Clark County coroner notified Las Vegas police that 19-year-old Carlos Alfredo Granados-Campos died of his injuries. 

The driver of the Hyundai did not complain of injury and remained at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai did not display any signs of impairment.
