The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released more than 3 hours of video on Wednesday that was recorded when police officers responded to the Mandalay Bay on the night of Oct. 1, 2017.
The officers were dispatched to the hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip because someone had opened fire from the 32nd floor on thousands of people gathered for a country music festival across the street.
Reporter Bryan Callahan reviewed that video footage after it was received by the television station. On Wednesday evening, he described what he saw to a Facebook Live audience.
